FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q. How big are the shirts?
A. Hanes: S(34-36) M(38-40), L(42-44), XL(46-48), XXL(50-52) (sizes in inches)
Bella: (US sizes) Small 0-4, Medium 4-8, large 8-10; (UK sizes) Small 8-10, Medium 10-12, Large 12-14
Kavio: (US sizes) Small 0-2, Medium 4-6, Large 8-10

A note! Kavio shirts run slightly smaller (and are maybe a centimetre or two shorter) than the Bella shirts. If you are toward the top end of your size and the shirt is listed as being printed on a Kavio shirt - go a size up!

Q. My book/t-shirt has not arrived yet/can I swap a shirt?
A. Please email me, john@scarygoround.com, with "SGR ENQUIRY" in the subject line of your email and I will make sure your enquiry reaches the appropriate person. Please include all the details from your Paypal receipt or I may not be able to locate your order.

IMPORTANT NOTE: if you don't send your enquiry this way, the response will be severely delayed. I endeavour to respond to all enquiries personally within 1 working day, but I need your help to do that.

Q. How much does it cost to ship shirts?
A. In the US & Canada, shipping costs £2 per shirt (about US$3.85). Outside the US and Canada, regular shirts are £5 each and babydoll shirts £3 each. International orders ship USPS Air Mail or Global Priority.

Q. Can I pay by cheque/postal order?
A. Yes you can, but only if your cheque is drawn on a bank in the UK (otherwise I pay a large fee). It's always best to email me first at the address above so I know to expect your cheque and have a record of what you want.

Q. I don't trust the postal service, can I have my items delivered another way?
A. Email me if you have special requirements, I can offer signed-for or insured delivery for an additional charge.

Q. My purchase hasn't arrived, where is it?
A. Very occasionally, things go missing in the mail - electronic or regular. If you haven't received your book or t-shirt within 28 days, something may have gone wrong. Most orders are turned around within 7-10 days, so don't suffer in silence, drop me an email and we'll find out what's happened.

Q. Do you have any of (unavailable shirt) left in my size?
A. When a shirt vanishes from the shop page, it is usually because I don't have any left at all. I don't often bring designs back but feel free to email me and ask me if I will - if enough people make a request, I'll get the message.

Q. Will there be reprints of Scareodeleria or Looks, Brains and Everything
A. This doesn't look very likely right now. Both books were steady sellers but I rely on the initial burst of interest in a new book to make it break even, which I won't get with a reprint. I hope one day to be able to offer them again.

Q. Who prints your shirts? Who prints your books? Who ships them?
A. My tshirts are printed by Brunetto T-shirts of Southington, CT. They've been doing a fantastic job for me for the last four or five years. My last few books have been printed by Regal Printing of Hong Kong. Shirts ship from the Dumbrella Distribution Centre in Northampton, Mass. Books to the US and Canada ship from there too. Personalised books, teatowels and books going anywhere other than North America ship from my house (there is a postbox three doors down, fortunately it has a wide slot).
